I guess it’s true to say that Thursday of this week was not ideal conditions for a photoshoot! However we are nothing if not wise enough to know that weather in Britain can be unpredictable. You just have to go with it sometimes and that is exactly what Sophie and Mark did when we met up at Hampstead Heath for their pre-wedding shoot. We had hoped for a break in the clouds and the rain to cease, if only for a brief respite, but no such luck I’m afraid. We braved the rain for a few shots then decided the best option would be to head off to Kenwood House where at least there would be some cover. It is many years since I last visited Kenwood ( I think it was raining then ). It is one of London’s hidden gems. We got some lovely photographs of Sophie and Mark around the house before heading inside for a much needed cup of tea. Many thanks to Sophie and Mark for braving the rain so stoically. There will be more photographs online for you to choose from soon and I will get your reception print made in time for the wedding at Brocket Hall next month. Mark is a fireman and is going to arrive in a vintage fire engine so I am really looking forward to photographing his arrival! Hopefully there will also be another more modern engine as well which will make for some great pictures. So although we didn’t have perfect weather for the pre-wedding shoot I think we did OK and it was good to meet up with Sophie and Mark again.
