Always a pleasure to photograph weddings at Coltsfoot. The staff here are great and I always enjoy being the photographer for Coltsfoot weddings.
Last week I was the wedding photographer for Tony at Coltsfoot Country Retreat. His best man was his son Craig. This week for Michelle & Brian’s wedding the roles were reversed. Brian’s best man at his wedding last Friday was his father Trevor. Trevor did a great job of helping Brian and usher Dale to get ready for the day ahead. Meanwhile staff members Helen and Charlotte were busy finalising all the little details that go into a wedding day at Coltsfoot. The ceremony was held in the usual spot for summer weddings with the doors open and guests seated in the open marquee area.
I took Michelle and Brian out across the open fields opposite Coltsfoot for a few different images of the day. On our way back I saw an approaching motor cyclist and couldn’t resist taking some quick pictures including him in the frame to make a rather unusual and slightly incongruous image.
After the first dance we headed over to the fields at the back of the venue to witness another beautiful sunset which I often shoot whilst photographing weddings at Coltsfoot.
Butterfly Events provided much of the decoration for Michelle and Brian’s day with flowers by Sage Garden. Millers of Bishops Stortford provided the wonderful hair styling for Michelle and in the evening Ben Smith provided some great musical entertainment for all of the guests.
